Rescue. Rehabilitate. Rehome.

Giving slaughter-bound horses a second step toward a better life.

Our Mission

We rescue horses from the slaughter pipeline, rehabilitate them with patience and care, and carefully match each one with the right fit — a home that gives them their best possible second chance at life.

Horses in our care

Every horse that comes through our gates has a story. These are a few of the faces you'll meet on the farm right now.

Gus, a dark bay horse
Permanent Resident

Gus

Breed TBDAge TBD

Our gentle, grounding presence on the farm. Gus arrived as a rescue and quickly taught us that some horses are meant to stay — and that's okay.

Aspen, a chestnut and flaxen quarter horse
Permanent Resident

Aspen

Grade QHChestnut & flaxen

A bright chestnut with white markings and a true barrel horse's heart. Aspen is family — part mentor, part barn mascot.

We typically have 2–3 horses at different stages of rehabilitation. Visit the Our Horses page to see who's currently with us.

How it works

Three steps. One promise.

i.

Rescue

We bring horses out of the slaughter pipeline, off neglect situations, and out of surrender — often on short notice and with very little information.

ii.

Rehabilitate

Vet work, farrier, nutrition, training, time. Every horse gets what they need, for as long as they need it — no rushing, no shortcuts.

iii.

Rehome

We match each horse carefully with a vetted adopter, and stay in touch long after they've settled into their new family.
